A skip link moves to the main content. The file control is a labelled button, Choose file, and it shows a focus outline. Drag and drop is optional. When a workbook has more than one sheet, a Sheet menu chooses which one to open. Cleaning choices are checkboxes and selects. Preview, Apply, Undo, Reset, and Download are buttons.

Parsing and results are written to a status message that assistive technology can announce. The message does not move keyboard focus.

Previews are tables with column headers and row numbers. Long cells stay in the cell, and the table region scrolls. Issue text is written out; a border is not the only signal that a file failed.
